Kate Felus has taught for the University of Bristol MA in Garden History and the University of Bath MSc in Garden Conservation. She has spoken at academic conferences in both the UK and Europe, and has regularly lectured to county gardens trusts and other local interest groups, including giving the Bampfylde lecture at Hestercombe in 2008.


Subjects she covers include: the social use of designed landscapes – how form follows function, the design of 18th century landscapes and in particular the work of Charles Bridgeman, and the modern day use and protection of designed landscapes.
